#TwoWord Stories. Damage. Control. Kanye West’s Media Trainer Gives Ye the Middle Finger, Quits

Written by thejasminebrand in Blog

According to the NY Post, Kanye West’s media handler, Susie Arons, VP at Rubenstein Communications, quit after just 3 days of having Ye as a client.

Arons was hired to assist Kanye prep and handle his Today Show interview; yeah, the one that’s a PR person’s worst nightmare. Allegedly, the story & time line goes like this…

Monday night: Ye’s camp and Arons agreed to cancel the interview on Monday night.

Tuesday morning: Early Tuesday morning, someone changed their mind and Arons was notified. Arons prepped (or ‘crammed’) Ye for his interview in  his dressing room.

Tuesday show-time: During the interview, things weren’t going too well. During break, Arons tried to I guess prep/provide pointers, etc.

Tuesday mid-day/evening: Kanye takes to twitter and does his rant thing.

Thursday: Ye’s Today Show interview airs.

Friday: Ye takes to twitter again (the rant remix) Aron quits.

The end.
