Jay has partnered with Louis XIII for a limited edition cognac called, Black Pearl. It runs around $3k per bottle and is individually numbered Baccarat dark crystal carafes.
As you know, celebs like Sean “Diddy” Combs have increased the overall consumption of brands, like Ciroc (they’ve reported 552 % brand growth since he became brand manager and chief marketing officer in 2007). It’ll be interesting to see if Jay-Z, who pushed the use of Ace of Spades (in 2006), is able to do the same for the Black Pearl.
