Oprah Winfrey to Barbara Walters, “I’m not a lesbian. I’m not even kind of a lesbian.”

“She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want.” Oprah on Gayle

Barbara Walters’ one-hour interview special with Oprah Winfrey airs on Thursday evening, but small clips have been circling the atmosphere where Oprah addresses the lesbian rumors w/ her bff Gayle King.

Oprah tells Barbara, “She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person.”

And on the lesbian rumors, “I’m not a lesbian. I’m not even kind of a lesbian. And the reason why it irritates me is because it means that somebody must think I’m lying. That’s number one. Number two: why would you want to hide it? That is not the way I run my life.”

May I say this? Everybody ain’t gay. If you/we/they are, then cool, but until they ID themselves as such, let’s have a small seat on a stool. Thanks.
