According to a few reports, 23 year-old R&B singer, Jazmine Sullivan, took to twitter Sunday evening to inform fans that she was taking a break from music.
A protege of musical genius, Missy Elliott, Sullivan became well-known for her hit singles, “Bust Your Windows,” and “Need U Bad,” which reached number one on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
According to The Boombox, Sullivan tweeted, “i’m making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music,” she tweeted. “i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen. i promised myself when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. [sic]“
Sullivan later deleted the tweets and released a new song titled, “I’m Not a Robot,” that apparently reflects what she’s been experiencing lately.

didnt take long for it to not become fun for her … a lil odd
She’s been in the business since she was like 15. Eight years in the business is plenty of time to figure out that you need a break.
I still love her though…dang i want to hear more from her.
