In 2011, and at the age of 40, British fashion designer, Alexander McQueen died. And while friends and fans continue to mourn his loss, the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute is showcasing McQueen’s, “Savage Beauty.” McQueen’s successor, Sarah Burton shared, “He really loved the shows. He used to say, ‘This is the last big one we’re doing,’ but he couldn’t help himself.
