(Part 1) Model Sheneka Adams Talks :: Sex Tapes, Rumors & Chubby Chasin Tendencies

Over the weekend and during her brief stay in Washington, DC, I had the opportunity to chat with model/socialite, Sheneka Adams. You may have heard of her from a few well-known videos, King Magazine or her sex tape (or two). Oh, or maybe from one of the few other rumors involving Soulja Boy and a married NBA baller. In part 1 of the interview, we hop right into what folks want to know. Peep our conversation.

Tell me a little about your background.
I’m originally from Athens, Georgia. I moved to Atlanta about three years ago. Where I’m from it’s very country, everybody knows everybody. There, you go to school, you graduate from high school, you have kids and you stay there and raise your family type of situation. NeNe (Leakes from the Real Housewives of Atlanta), Phaedra (Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta) and a couple of football players are from there. It’s a real cool place, I just couldn’t stay there. It wasn’t for me.

So you put college on hold to pursue modeling? That’s what it was in the beginning.

What do you think your life would be like if you would have went to college? Originally, I wanted to go to school to be a forensic scientist. So, yeah, it’s a drastic change. I would probably still be in college now. I probably wouldn’t be who I am now. I know that for sure. I would probably be like a nerd because I was a nerd in high school.

At what point did you become well known? Honestly, I was modeling when I first graduated, but it didn’t really get serious until last year (2010). A friend of mine introduced me to another friend of mine and he’s been in the industry for a long time…very prominent, knows what he’s doing. I was just talking to him and telling him what I wanted to do. He was like “Okay, I’mma help you, just whatever I tell you to do, do it.” He introduced me to my current modeling agency. From there, she (current modeling agency), started making calls and I got booked for Smooth (Magazine). I basically just listened to them and everything went from there.

Who’s the guy that you’re referring to, that initially helped you get started? I’d rather not say (she laughs). I’ll just call him my “angel.”

How was your Smooth (magazine) experience? Very professional, fun.

How was your experience with King (magazine)? It was great. That was probably one of the best issues that I’ve done. It was very different. I’m not saying that all of the magazines are one way, but this one was very tasteful and sexy and it focused more on the girl, as opposed to “turn around and bend over.” It was very sexy; very tasteful. I’m actually going to be on the cover. I’m shooting the cover at the end of this month. (Sheneka did explain the concept of the shoot that she’s done, but we don’t want to ruin the surprise…UBER sexy though :)

Were you nervous?
No. I have done videos before so I’ve gotten use to it.

What was your first video? My first video was “So Fly”…Slim, Shawty Low, Yung Jock. That was my first ever video. No, I wasn’t nervous.

Why not? Why don’t you ever get nervous? I don’t know. I’m an attention whore. I like the attention. I just feel comfortable in front of the camera. I know what I’m supposed to do and I do it.

Did you like the spotlight when you were a little girl? Yep. I did.

How do your parents feel about your career? My parents support me in everything that I do. They knew (that she wanted to model). I used to talk about it when I was young. Not that they didn’t believe me, they thought that I was just a little girl dreaming. But now they’re like “Wow, we knew that you were going to go that route with it.”

At what point did people start making a big deal about your appearance? Ummm, I can’t put my finger on the exact moment. But, it was kinda like a gradual thing, I guess the more I did. The blogs, they kinda talk about me all the time. It wasn’t really like an exact moment. It just kinda happened over time.

In high school, did you have your body/shape? Yeah, but in high school, I was a nerdy person. I used to wear sweatpants and flip-flops. No make-up. I was just really chill. I didn’t really start being like this until I graduated.

Are you you single? Yes, I’m single. It’s cool. I’m just having fun.

What do you look for in a man? Actually, I like fat guys. I’m a chubby chaser.

Fat like Rick Ross fat? Doesn’t matter. As long as you have like two stomachs; a little pouch. I’ve always been attracted to those types of men. It’s something about them….they just know how to keep me warm at night (lol).

So, you don’t like a man with a six pack? I mean that’s cool, but I would prefer a fat guy. No shade to the guys with the six packs, because I still love you. But…I’m a chubby chaser.

Wow. Okay. So, I checked out your blog. Why did you start blogging? Honestly, it was one of those things…I write a lot of short stories and poetry. I thought “why not start a blog?” So that’s originally what I was doing. And I put some entertainment on it. It’s mostly used for my thoughts, short stories, poetry…things like that.

So the whole sex tape thing. When did that come out? It’s very old. The reason why [people are still talking about it] is because of World Star Hip Hop. Before, no one really knew about it. I wasn’t as popular and it wasn’t on any major sites. I didn’t become an issue until WSHH put it on their site.

(Sidebar: there are two sex-tapes. One with just her and the other with another guy).

So people actually saw it? Does it show that it’s clearly you?
Yeah, people saw it. It’s just me.  I wouldn’t even call them sex tapes. The first one is twelve seconds. And it was not with Soulja Boy, it was with this guy I was dating and I didn’t even know he was recording the video. It was one of those situations and it was like twelve seconds long. It was just an oral video.

You doing him or him doing you? Me, doing him.

Was this before people knew who you were? Yeah. At the time I was literally like 19. It was very old. He didn’t release it until like recently.

Did you have a conversation with him after he leaked it? No. No need to talk to him about it. He thought that he was going to do that and try to make me look bad, but people these days…they like stuff like that.

Peep Part 2 of the interview tomorrow where we discuss the second sex tape, the rumors and the alleged tell-all book.
