Rita Ora Admits:: “I’m Scared [Of Not Being Normal Anymore]” + Denies Dating Rob Kardashian

Just a little over a month ago, Jay-Z and his newest artist, Rita Ora, released her first single, “Party and Bullshit.” And now, she has been popping up all over the media as anticipation for her upcoming projects builds. This week, she was featured in UK’s Sunday Times Style, doing a hot photo shoot and answered some interesting questions about celebrities she has been linked to (Jay, Kanye, Rihanna, and Rob Kardashian), as well as her own music. Check out the photos and excerpts:

On her upbringing:

“I was born in Pristina, Kosovo. My parents sensed there was going to be a war, so they left…. [My Mother] had been a doctor in Kosovo, but I don’t think her qualifications let her work here, so she had to study. She worked in a bar, too, while tring to raise me and my sister…. Yeah, but she qualified and now she’s a psychiatrist.”

On not being normal anymore, now that she’s getting famous:

“I’m so excited that I’m getting to do what I want to do. I worked so hard towards this, but I’m going to give you an honest answer. I’m scared, but it’s part of the game. I have to suck it up.”

On how Jay-Z treats her:

“He’s Sagittarius, I’m Sagittarius. He’s a great boss. It’s like family. Jay cares about his artist, his business and about people’s feelings. That’s what sets him apart from everyone else. They gave me three years to do my album: two years to find myself and a year to record it. People don’t do that nowadays, because, realistically, there’s no money.”

On what she admires about Kanye West:

“Kanye is part of Roc, so I’ve met him a few times. I really admire his style in music and style in dress sense.”

On being compared to Rihanna:

“It’s an honor. Who wouldn’t want to be compared to her?”

On if she’s dating Rob Kardashian:

“Am I seeing him? Look, RIP went to radio and a whole bunch of friends came to Mahiki to celebrate. That was it.”
