Ladies, NBA baller Amar’e Stoudemire is officially off the market. Over the weekend, he made an honest man out of himself and proposed to Alexis Welch, his girlfriend/mother of his three children. The engagement was uber romantic, going down in Paris outside of their penthouse at Le Meurice Hotel Belle, overlooking the Eiffel Tower lights.

So what’s her bling hitting on? It appears that Amar’e went all out, lacing her with a 8.5-carat radiant-cut ring, with 3.50 carats of diamonds set in 18-carat white gold. According to reports, her bling is worth more than $1 million. Of his proposal, he told PEOPLE:

“I have been planning my proposal for a while and overlooking the entire Paris skyline seemed like a perfect place.  I am so happy she said ‘yes,’ and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife…”

The couple plans to make it official in 2013. Congrats!
