Court Date Released for Jennifer Williams’ Lawsuit Against Nia Crooks

Written by thejasminebrand in Blog

A hearing date has been set for Nia Crooks, the assistant of Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada. Earlier this season of the popular VH1 show, we saw a confrontation between Nia Crooks and Jennifer Williams, where Nia slapped Jennifer. And as the season continued, we learned that Jennifer had filed a lawsuit. In the police report, Jennifer said that Nia slapped her with an open hand on the left side of her face and told her,

“You better sleep with one eye open.”

Fast forward to the present day, and a hearing date on the case has been set in Broward County, on June 28th. The State Attorney spokesman Ron Ishoy said,

“A hearing date on the case will be set on June 28. Crooks faces up to one year in jail if found guilty…”

Meanwhile, Nia has remained mum on the case, she explained on twitter:

“not in my best interest to speak right now. After all of the dust settles I’ll speak again.”

I hope she gets a nice big fine. As grown azz women, we need to learn how to act!

  2. TheLovely1 says:

Good, I’m glad she may get locked up, keep your damn hands to yourself. That show is a damn mess now.

  3. Dubb-B(female type) says:

I hope something serious happens to her. I didn’t see the whole episode, just the part where she slapped her on a sneak move. Wasn’t even “big” enough to slap her face on.

  4. Renee says:

If I was Jen… I will see it to the end. Make example out of her.
If she in up in jail” so be it” I bet she will not slapp anyone else.
Do the crime/ assault you do the time!!!!
