[Video] Fantasia Tells Public To Mind Their Business + Takes #Essence to Church

Sunday, Fantasia (who’s been in the media as of late), hit New Orlean’s Essence Music Festival, with a boom–literally. Well, not a boom, but a grand entrance. The soulful singer began her show with a full band (even rockin’ to the Go-Go song, “3 In the Morning” at one point) and performed a highly emotional set. As customary, Fantasia sang for most of her show barefoot and sang popular songs like ‘Bittersweet’ and ‘Even Angels’, along with some old-school classics, like  Sheila E.’s “Glamorous Life,”and Vanity 6’s “Nasty Girl.” At one point during her show, she addressed (somewhat) all of the media and public speculation about rumors that she’s pregnant again and that she and her father’s child, Antwaun Cook, are having some issues. In between songs, she said:

“I’m doing me now, and I don’t care what the folk have to say. So put that on your Twitter.”

And added,

“Sweep around your own front door before you try and clean around mine…”

In true ‘Tasia fashion, she ended with a little bit of Jesus, bringing out  VaShawn Mitchell for “Nobody Greater”. Here’s Fantasia performing, “It’s All Good”.

P.S. Here’s a closer look at Fantasia’s wardrobe.
