During an interview with RumorFix, at the press conference for her PETA debut, Evelyn Lozada opened up about the challenges that she’s with her failed marriage to Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson. She explained the motivation behind taking a hiatus from the public and why she feels that she now has a second chance:
“This year has been a really, really tough year for me. I would probably say that I have learned that I am pretty patient. It’s just been challenging, honestly It’s kind of an emotional roller coaster. It was tough for me, but I just try to keep it positive and continue to live life. I don’t beat myself up. I have family and friends that have been very, very supportive. I took about a month, month and a half … I just went away for a while and had to regroup and refocus. I feel like I got another chance at life, I know that may sound crazy but that’s how I feel. I’m just like, ‘Ok, we need to keep going, I’m not gonna let any of that tear me down.’ I have good people around me so it’s been OK.”
She continued:
“I do believe in second chances. I actually had someone ask me that recently, and I do. I’m not bitter, things happen and yeah, I do believe in second chances. I would want somebody to give me a second chances, and you never know.”
Is Evelyn right–don’t we all deserve a second chance?

People do deserve 2nd changes…but not 3rd & 4th. I do remember watching Ochocinco on 1st Take last week and this isn’t his first incident. I also recalled Evelyn saying that this wasn’t the 1st time he’s shown signs of abusiveness…don’t do it girl. He’s showing you who he is…believe him. I know it’s hard to walk away, but you’re almost past the difficult part. You’re past the initial OMG and humiliation of it all. Don’t go back and have to get through this again.
Why are all of my comments so long today? Lol. Sorry Jasmine.
I’m so over Evelyn. She should have taken more than “a month a month and a half”
I agree. A life time of mess does not get resoloved in a month or month and half. Needs to keep that tacky show going and make people watch since it was being boycotted.
Part of me wants to sympathize with her because she lived thru a very difficult public toxic relationship with a celebrity. But i have also seen her be the aggressor so its hard to really see her as a victim or even as someone who has changed take note that all of this has happened in a year. hardly enough time for her to reflect. people do deserve a second chance and i truly do think ocho has learned a lesson. he had to shed the bs and become a better man in the public eye along with his family watching. its hard because her situation i truly genuinely do care about
A second chance does not mean “allow him to be part of your life again”. A second chance would be to forgive him, as well as, yourself and move on. You can love people from afar and sometimes you have to do just that…for you to be able to recognize the situation for what it was and/or is…clarity!
Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to
protect against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
Any tips?
