Jermaine Dupri’s 20th Anniversary concert, of So So Def, pulled out some musical heavy hitters. Taking place at the Fox Theatre, concert goers were surprised to see folk like Jay-Z and Mariah Carey take the stage.
Other artists like, Usher, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Nelly, Lil Jon, Monica, Kris Kross, Bow Wow, Anthony Hamilton, Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Xscape (Latocha and Tamika Scott), T-Pain, Lil Scrappy, Youngbloodz, Bonecrusher, Dem Franchize Boyz, J-Kwon, Dondria, and Pastor Troy took the stage. And as is expected, the show went down memory lane, musically, with artists performing some of JD’s collaborative classics (or songs that he produced) like, “Money Ain’t a Thang” (JD & Jay-Z), “Jump” (Kris Kross), “Yeah” (Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon), “Who Can I Run To” (Xscape), “I Gotta Be” (Jagged Edge), “Welcome to Atlanta” (JD, Ludacris), “Give It 2 U” (Da Brat), “I Think They Like Me” (Dem Franchize Boyz) and “Coming From Where I’m From”. The evening also included a few words from folk like Mariah and Jay-Z, along with a tricked out cake, that was brought out on stage. Peep the pix.

looks like an alright concert with an awesome turnout. but i am wondering how true it is that tiny/tameka harris not showing because her travel expenses were not accommodated. she lives in atl area, so how hard could it be to get there… only jay and mariah were comp’d of course, so is it true that tiny felt some kind of way? i hope not. her and tip seems bigger than that. now kandi, that is another story.
