If you were a fan of the 1990s group, Brownstone, you’ll be excited with this news. This week, Nicci Gilbert (who stars on TV One’s reality show R&B Divas) announced the news to V-103’s Egypt Sherrod. While the details remain fuzzy, we do know that the first stop of the tour will be Atlanta. And for you musical history buffs, the three original members of the group Brownstone were Monica “Mimi” Doby, Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell and Nichole “Nicci” Gilbert. They were originally founded in LA and were signed to Michael Jackson’s MJJ Music record label. Anywho, stay tuned for details on WHO (outside of Nicci) will be touring and tour dates.

And in other R&B Divas news, the new cast members of the Los Angeles spin-off (Kelly Price, Lil Mo, Claudia, Michel’le, Dawn Robinson (En Vogue), Chante Moore), are making their rounds musically. Recently, we caught the entire cast, killing the stage at The Savoy. Rumor has it they begin filming this month. Anywho, check out the cast perform.

I loved brownstone, along with SEVERAL, XSCAPE, MONICA, BRANDY, ETC, but Nicci if i had to work with u, I WOULD NOT. God bless, but i doubt it will work seriously. Nicci expects more than she is able to give. Sad but very true.
