By now, you’ve probably heard that this week, Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife, Siohvaughn Wade, was given an opportunity to give her side of what tragically went down in her marriage and ugly divorce. Using Dr. Phil as a platform, Siohvaughn told viewers that she was being painted as a ‘crazy’ person, and noted that her ex hubby’s celebrity status was the most significant factor in her losing custody of their two boys. She explained:

“Well a lot of it had to do with Mr. Wade’s celebrity and a lot of it had to do with his money. But I’ve seen the court system in a way that I’ve never seen it before. I went into that place hoping to get help for my children and I, but I found judges in the courtroom quoting statistics for Mr. Wade. They would speak about him as if they were introducing the starting lineup for a basketball game.”

And while some of us believe that perhaps, she has a great point, others not so much. D. Wade’s Hollywood actress girlfriend  Gabrielle Union, has been limited with dishing her opinion on the matter (although we did find this article). Today on twitter, we caught a few tweets that was either subliminal advice for Siohvaughn or genuine advice for us all. She wrote:

The second your life becomes a contradiction, people lose faith & trust…Stop blamin every1 & everything if ur life isn’t where u want it to be. Admit ur mistakes & shortcomings & commit to change…We can always be our own biggest problem or we can be our own best solution. Change starts & stops with you.

We could be reaching, or in fact, Gabrielle could be telling baby boo to admit her mistakes. In either case, we will keep twatching.

I agree, but I don’t think gabby should be saying anything about the matter. It is between her and D.Wade.

I agree to a certain extent. Except for the fact that Siohvaughn has said Gabby’s name on more than one occasion. if she wanted to keepit between her and Dwayne then thats exactly what she should have done and not speak about gabby.

Why does Siohvaughn have to move on?! Yes, of course realistically she does but she’s been hurt. She also lost custody of her kids. So she has a reason to voice her pain. For people to suggest that, makes it seems that her accusations about unfairness in the courts is true. We all tend to favor the celebrity whether we realize it or not. At this point, Gabby needs to keep her mouth shut. You lose them how you get them and if he wasn’t fair to the ex-wife, then she ought to keep her ears & eyes open more so than her big mouth! The Ex has legit pain and she’s the one who doesn’t have the finanical backing to fight against the powerhouse he is, with money and fame. I believe her when she says she’s dealt with judges who seem to be taken in by his fame. If Mr. Wade always gets to say his peace, then his Ex should be able to at least explain her side. Not many of us know what it’s like to have to deal with the type of issue she’s going through and not be supported. So, I think she should be respected for that much. I don’t know the full story but I do feel for Siohvaughn. Yes, she may have had some faults in the demise of her marriage and she may have acted out improperly out of hurt. At the end of the day, the courts should be fair and again, that damn girlfriend, should keep her big mouth shut!!!
