Serving all types of leg and mean shoe game, this week actress Keshia Knight Pulliam took her talents to the Wendy Williams Show. The 34-year-old actress was there to promote her new show Splash (airs on ABC),Tuesdays at 8 PM)  but also dished on those unflattering photos of her body that hit recently, why she’s trying to dispel that despite myth that black women love swimming too (despite hair challenges) and her love-life. Peep a few excerpts. Her reaction after seeing unflattering photos hit the net:

“I know the pictures that you speak of and as a woman even if you look like that no matter what you’re mortified. I had that moment when I fell out in my closet like ugh but  I realized I could either be defeated by or inspired by it. At the end of the day I’m not the first woman or the last one thats going to have an unflattering photo of them. Not only was it the angle I feel like they may have added something extra as women you know how we’re. I got out of the shower and posed in front of the mirror and was no I don’t look like that. “

On what her love life is like these days:

“I’m in love with me”

On Splash (The Show):

“It’s really crazy; this opportunity came to me. At first my team was ‘Oh, absolutely not!;, but I was like ‘I really love swimming’. Then I did my research I’m such a Google girl. I looked and realize there were absolutely no African American women who had competed or medaled in diving, Olympics or at any high level. I have my non-profit Kamp Kizzy about girls and inspiration dream(ing) big and think big. And I was like this perfect opportunity to inspire others.

On how she manages to keep her hair healthy, while swimming daily:

“I can’t really do weaves because my scalp is cosmophobia I need to scratch my hair because it itches. I just do clip ins.”

On if she still watches ‘Cosby Show’ episodes:

“I do sometimes and now that ‘House Of Payne’ is on syndication so its very often I flip the channel and see myself. Its like watching home movies.”
