First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated the first day of spring by greeting and handing out Easter goodies to military families and children. With first dog, Bo, in tow, Michelle hit up the Fincher House at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland outside of Washington, DC. Michelle greeted the families as they were decorating Easter cards and passed out cookies made by the White House chef. She also gave the families tickets to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 1. Peep some pics of her visit below.

And In other news….

Flesh-N-Bone (born Stanley Howse) of the popular rap group Bone Thugs N-Harmony has moved away from music for a more “organic” venture. The 39-year-old Cleveland, Ohio native has partnered with medical facility in Michigan to create a new strain of marijuana for patients called, Phifty Caliber Kush. In this new partnership, Green Oasis Dispensary owner, Anthony Butler, will allow Flesh to “further cultivate and distribute the strain and its seeds.”  He further states:

We worked closely together to figure out what we wanted out of the medication, it’s the best of the best.”

Flesh hopes the new strain is helpful to patients in need and wants to be a part of the shift in the way weed in perceived. In conjunction with developing the new marijuana, Flesh is working to bring his new “product” to California, Washington and Colorado. Medical marijuana became legal in Michigan in 2008. He is also selling the seeds to help patients grow their own weed. Forgot who the hell Bone Thugs N Harmony is or was? Geez I feel old! They were a five member hip-hop group from Cleveland, Ohio known for popular 90′ s hits such as “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “Foe Da Love Of Money” and “1st of The Month” In 2000, Flesh was sentenced to twelve years in prison for assault with a deadly weapon and was released in 2008.The group disbanded in 2010, but reunited and performed on “Rock The Bells” tour along with Nas and Wiz Khalifa last year.
