Rumor Control! Tameka Raymond Denies Quitting ‘Atlanta Exes’ + Why She Forgives Man Responsible For Son’s Death

Tameka informed me that the homie DJ Traci Steele is not a member of the cast but she does have some shocking moments as a walk on for the show.

Interesting, right? Our assumption (which is not factual) is depending on the storyline, Traci may be able to be a more permanent fixture on the show. We’re also betting that Tameka probably threatened to quit, after the verbal spat with Traci, but later thought otherwise. In either case, we’ll keep you updated.

In addition to reality TV, she is also prepping for the First Annual Kile’s World First Anniversary 5K Run/Walk Spring Festival. Her son, Kile Glover was killed tragically in a boating accident last year. Raymond stopped by Fox Five Atlanta to speak on her son’s death, the event and forgiving the man responsible. Peep the excerpts below.

Forgiving Jeffery Hubbard, who was convicted in Kile’s death:

I forgive people that I fell have done things wrong. Who am I to judge? I know that he loved my son, I can’t imagine that obviously that would have been done purposely. It was an accident you know and I forgive him.

If she will attend the sentencing:

I don’t mind, if they ask me to. You know I didn’t bring the case against Mr. Hubbard it was the state [of Georgia] against him. I am happy that justice was served, because I think it will save other lives, maybe other people who think that they’re gonna be reckless on a lake will see what happened to him and as a result maybe they will slow down and be a little more cognizant.

On this years event:

This time we are celebrating the one year anniversary of the foundation, I started it last year on Kile’s birthday. We did the launch at the Woodruff Arts Center and this is the one year anniversary of Kile’s World but it also would’ve been Kile’s 13th birthday, so it’s a very big deal for me, I’m excited about it, I’ve been training for it. I’ve got team’s and team captains and people set up that are slated to support us this time.

Starting Kile’s World Foundation:

It is one of the hardest things I think I will ever do in terms of career…I’ve chose something that’s so hard. I hate calling at a foundation or a 501c3 because this was my son. Its hearts work. This is hearts work and hard work. It’s very important that I do endeavors that are important to the community and I think you can do so much through the arts..
