After releasing his light-weight lyrical attack on the Roc Nation boss, Jay-Z in the freestyle “Draft Day”,  Canadian rapper/actor, Drake had more to say with his new hit “Days In the East”, expressing his relationship with pop star, Rihanna. In the slow groove tune,  produced by PARTYNEXTDOOR and 40, Drake states how much he is trying to prove to a young lady that they were just meant to be. Adding Rih’s lyrics from her “Stay” single, vocals in the background, he sings:

I threw my hands in the air and said show me something.

One line in particular has some of us scratching our head — is he referring to the love triangle that once existed between him, Chris Brown and Rihanna?

Ain’t the first time cause I’ve lost you before/Had to get it back

Drake’s brief romance with Rihanna has been well-publicized, they both have stayed pretty quiet on their status. For the last month, they’ve been spotted spotted together both in London (while Drake was touring), Amsterdam and in the states.

Take a flight here, pop a Xan for the boy/Waking up in Amsterdam with the boy.

The song also references Rihanna’s Chanel deal:

“F–k them h–s, you got the award already/You go to Chanel and get rewards already.”

Anywho, help us speculate. Listen to the full song below.
