Kozulin claims that since there was no deal she is the sole owner of the sound recording. However, she says that Hunte – who is a big time songwriter – assigned the rights to the song to Epic and Sony Music, where it ended up with the 37-year-old Love & War crooner.

Kozulin says Braxton did so without her consent or permission  and didn’t even credit her as a writer. She says the use of her music without authorization is illegal.

She says she sent a demand letter to Braxton’s team informing them of the infringement of her work but they never got back to her, so now she has filed suit.

Kozulin wants 50% of the profits made from the song, a court order naming her as one of the song writers, plus other damages from the infringement. Read the EXCLUSIVE court documents!
