[Interview] Shay Johnson Addresses Relationship With Scrappy + Says Club Fight Was A Result of Her Being Bullied

reality star shay johnson interview-the jasmine brandIf you want someone to keep it real, your best bet is to talk with Shay Johnson.  Shay has made appearances throughout reality TV, but she is most recently known for her stint on  Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta and the love triangle involving Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon. Now a thing of the past, theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively spoke with her about life and status of her relationship with Lil Scrappy now that she’s off the series. An open book, she wasn’t quiet on anything that wasn’t legally binding. Meaning if you ask her about Scrappy, she’ll tell you the trut, no filter; “No I wasn’t on the show [this season] at all with Scrappy but I dealt with Scrappy off and on, the entire season. He still ain’t went nowhere.”

Nor will she keep quiet on her words of advice for Bambi. “It’s not my fault she [Momma Dee] doesn’t like Bambi. I didn’t tell her not to like her—She don’t like her because she’s a nag and she’s a crybaby, and she whines over every little thing—I was told Bambi was always whining and crying because she always wanted that relationship with his family that I have.“

The interview was every bit of juicy without a sprinkle of Mona’s magic story lines. Find out what Shay had to say, along with her response to allegations that she physically attacked a woman in an Atlanta night club.

Shay Johnson-Love and Hip Hop Atlanta-2014-The Jasmine Brand

On why we didn’t see her this season [of Love and Hip Hop]:

Shay Johnson: I didn’t want to deal with certain drama on the show. I tried to go in a direction that’s best for me. I’m not saying I would never do the show. Its just the situation on the show and what was going on with Scrappy and I outside of the show, it was just too much going on. I didn’t want to be apart of it. I was exposed in a different light, first and second season, as if I was a sidepiece and I was not finna be like that. Its not like I have anything against Scrappy. Scrappy and I are actually still dealing with each other. We still do. We were dealing with each other throughout the show off and on. There’s a lot that goes on outside of the show that the public doesn’t get to see. No I wasn’t on the show at all with Scrappy but I dealt with Scrappy off and on, the entire season. He still ain’t went nowhere. At the end of the day with Scrappy and I will have is a friendship because that’s how it started. We didn’t start off dating or anything like that. We didn’t have any type of relationship on a personal level up until just before Love and Hip Hop season one. So, we were literally best friends, but you never know what can happen, I don’t predict the future, but it is, what it is, at this point.
