Tamar Braxton & Adrienne Bailon Talk: Disappearing Edges, Divorce Rumors & Domestic Violence

[Adrienne] I think doing a show like “The Real”, you have to be able to keep it real and be honest and open. That’s what I feel great about the show, is that all of us are very much like that. We’re all like open books. We’re down to talk about it. You ask, we’re gonna keep it real. It’s not always gonna be great, it’s not always gonna be perfect, but it’s gonna be honest. I feel like going into a show like that, you have to keep those doors open. Granted, we still like to be a private couple. I like to say there is a difference between being a secret and being private.

On Tamar Braxton’s ego:

[Tamar] Isn’t that the most hilarious thing ever? I don’t think I’ve changed one bit, I’ve been the same chick. I’ve been on TV for four years with two reality shows, and I’m the same chick. It’s ridiculous.

On Tamar having issues with her husband:

[Tamar] I mean we argue, yes. It’s a lot to argue about. Number one, we work together. Number two, he’s my husband. Number three, he’s my baby daddy and we have a lot to argue about. And the end of the day, that’s my best friend. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here.

On Tamar receiving back-lash about her edges:

[Tamar] First of all, I put that on the show because you have to remember it’s my show. I’m executive producer. So my whole thing is, I’m not ashamed of what happened to me during when I had Logan [Tamar’s Son]. When I had Logan, my hair fell out. That’s not a myth, it happened. But my hair came back, get your life.

On what took Adrienne so long to remove her ‘Rob Kardashian’ tattoo:

[Adrienne] Honestly, I didn’t want it done wrong. You gotta remember, you got to find balance. Everyone comes into a relationship with different things. You gotta except what they coming with. Really? A tattoo? We take each other as we are.

Adrienne on Being Cool With Former 3LW Member Naturi Naughton:

[Adrienne] After you grow up and you look back, you’re just like all that for what? We were really young and it was more of a management issue than it actually was an issue with us girls.
