[Interview] Soulja Boy Talks Fatherhood + What Attracted Him & Girlfriend to Reality TV?

Soulja Boy: I just want people to see another side of me. Behind the music, behind the production and the movies and tv shows. I want them to see what’s real–that I’m really in a real relationship. I know the blog and media like to put me all over their websites if I take a picture with a female or anything. I just want to portray myself and tell my story.

theJasmineBrand: Is everything we are seeing on TV real? Was this your real lives? You confirmed for one that it’s real…tell me a little bit more about that.

Soulja Boy:  That’s one of the most asked questions of the series. Not just you, but my father asked if it was real. Alot of people think it’s fake. I’m here to clarify, it is real. Everything we do is real. The fights, the drama, what we’re going through, Cam [Nia’s daughter], me being there for her, everything is real. None of it is made up. I can’t speak on any of the other seasons or other shows but Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood everything that has been done thus far is real.

theJasmineBrand: “You’re in Hollywood, in L.A. The capital of everything fashion and you keep it trendy. What is your favorite trend right now for males?

Soulja Boy: I’m not feeling the skirt dress [shit]. I like leather pants–well joggers. They come in different colors–red, white, blue. I think this is what’s popping right now.
