[INTERVIEW] Tiny & Shekinah Jo Talk ‘Weave Trip’, ‘Tiny Tonight’ Cancellation & What They Love Most About Their Friendship

Shekinah: That’s my friend’s husband. If I disrespect her husband I’m disrespecting her. I don’t have nothing to do with him, that’s her husband. I’m in line as her friend and as long as there is no disrespect it has nothing to do with me. As long as she [is] happy and he do her right, we good.

theJasmineBRAND.comWhose split were you more surprised at — Amber and Wiz or Mariah and Nick Cannon?

Tiny: Amber and Wiz.

Shekinah: Both.

theJasmineBRAND.comWhat’s your biggest vice?

Tiny: I don’t wanna say what mine is cuz it’s not good.

Shekinah: I don’t know. Cussing is. I need to stop cussin’ but I don’t mind cussin’ sometimes. I’m working on it. I haven’t said that many during this interview.

theJasmineBRAND.comWhen is the last time either of you got into a physical fight?

Shekinah: Girl, some girls jumped on me at Lawrence Washington shop about my little sister’s drama. I came out, and ain’t have no black eyes but I was hurt. About 5 years ago.

Tiny: Maybe like 10 years ago.

Shekinah: Lemme tell you sumn, you put your hands on me and your ass is going down. You can call me a snitch or whatever but I’m calling 911.

Tiny: Well, for me, if I get in an argument with somebody and I see that you look like you wanna get crazy, I’m gon’ have to hit you first because I’m just too small for that.

Shekinah: If you looking like you getting ready to hit me I’m gon’ be like “Ok bi-ch keep comin.” *fake dials 911*

theJasmineBRAND.com: What lesson in life, took you the longest to learn?

Shekinah: Boys. These men.

Tiny: That it’s no friends in the business. For real. It took me a long time to learn that.

theJasmineBRAND.comIf you had to select one song, as the soundtrack of your life, what would it be?

Shekinah: “This Battle Is Not Yours, Its the Lord’s” by Yolanda Adams. There is no sad day that jesus will not what…?

theJasmineBRAND.comBiggest misconception about who you are.

Shekinah: They think I’m ghetto and I’m scared. I just like to speak my mind and people just be thinking I’m ghetto. Girls be running up on me “Hey girl!” and I’m like “please don’t hit me or pull on me.”

Tiny: Well for me they think that I get bothered by them calling me Ms Piggy. And I don’t. Ms Piggy was a bad b*tch. And she was rich. You ain’t hurting me by talking bout “Oh ok Ms Piggy” -who cares?

Shekinah: Tell ’em f-ck em girl.

Tiny: Im’ma get a shirt with Ms Piggy on it.
