Nicci Gilbert Vents About ‘R&B Divas Atl’ Rumored Cancellation: They tried to destroy my character!

specifically states what the claims are–I will say, when you reach a point where you can’t resolve what those issues are collectively, you have to rely on the legal system and follow this through.

Everybody on some level is disappointed and has been disappointed about certain things, not just me. I feel they probably feel the same way and the safest thing for me to do without losing my mind and flipping out is just to kind of let the court system play out. I feel there are some things that need to be talked about and worked out and since we can’t do it collectively, we have to include lawyers, legal, whatever.

Meanwhile, there have been conflicting reports as to whether R&B Divas Atlanta will return for another season. AlwaysAList reports:

AlwaysAList.com has now learned that the reason cast members were told they are “free to pursue other options in the reality space” is because their contracts have expired. Though TV One is claiming they have not cancelled the series, the talent contracts of the show’s stars all ended this week. Syleena Johnson, Monifah Carter and Meelah Williams – the only three singers the network was interested in returning if the show came back – no longer have deals with TV One or the production company responsible for the show.

In more positive news, Gilbert is currently working on a new docu-series (reality show) titled From the Bottom Up. Click here for the exclusive on the cast.
