Lastly, Jesus….Faith and courage was definitely the sentiments given by those who gave remarks. Goo Goo Atkins (Mary Mary reality star), indicated the impression Daisy left on her and how it’s important to have faith while working in the sometimes eccentric entertainment business and the world of fashion.
There was a hilarious video tribute of some private and public videos of Daisy that took those in attendance from tears to laughter as her infectious joy overtook us all. Her doctor came and spoke and indicated how much courage and faith Daisy had that made her someone she will never forget. Her father Larry Lewellyn (attorney and minister) gave a moving tribute that garnered a standing ovation indicating how this was the last thing he needed to do for his baby. Lastly, in her own words on the day of her passing, she told her mother René,” I’m so very happy and so very blessed”.
Rest in peace, Daisy.
