The musical hit “Hamilton” has snagged a record-breaking 16 Tony Award nominations, the biggest in Broadway history and another notch in the show’s march into theatrical history. ‘The Color Purple‘ has also snagged a nomination for the ‘Best Revival of a Musical’.
