Oscar Nominations Revealed

Today, the 89th Oscars Nominations were revealed. A few of our favs snagged nominations including Denzel Washington, Mahershala Ali, Ruth Nega, Viola Davis, Naomie Harris, Octavia Spencer, ‘Moonlight’, ‘Hidden Figures’ and ‘Fences’.

“La La Land” earned nods for best picture. The other nominees for best picture are: “Moonlight,” ”Arrival,” ”Manchester by the Sea,” ”Hell or High Water,” ”Lion,” ”Fences,” ”Hidden Figures”, “13th” and “Hacksaw Ridge.” Following two years of “OscarsSoWhite”, the Academy of Motion Pictures had notably more diverse field of nominees.
