During the hearing, the judge stated the other judge’s decision to seal records in Phaedra’s divorce – records Apollo claimed he had yet to see — is “problematic” and the judge believes it does not comply with the law, regardless if the couple is famous or not.

Apollo’s lawyers claimed he had not even seen the final judgement in Phaedra’s case, saying the judge sealed the docs even from him and he cannot properly contest her order when they won’t let him see it. The divorce battle is far from over for the reality stars.

Here’s the backstory: Back in December, Apollo filed for divorce from Phaedra, despite her public claims she already hit him with papers months prior.

He requested joint legal custody of their 2 kids and an equitable split of their assets in the divorce. The reality star listed the month of separation as June 2014.

Phaedra filed before Apollo but under the last name “Nita” — not the real name of “Nida”. He accused her of taking advantage of the fact that he was locked up in prison and claimed he was never notified of the final hearing.

The judge in Phaedra’s divorce granted her a full divorce and ruled on custody, parenting plan and division of property.

Apollo is trying to have a separate judge throw out Phaedra’s divorce judgement — which if granted would make them legally married once again, due to the divorce being void. Apollo argues he wants another divorce battle — only this time he wants to be aware of the proceedings.
