Car Biggie Killed In Being Sold For $1.5 Mill
The car that the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. (real name Christopher Wallace) was killed in is being sold for a serious coin. The vehicle is being sold for a whopping $1.5 million. The SUV is a 1997 GMC Suburban. The car was initially purchased from an auction by a family in California. They had the vehicle for years, but were unaware of the history of the car.
The owners explain,
In 2005, an LA Detective called and informed us about the car’s involvement in the shooting of Biggie Smalls and that it would be needed for the trial. We have kept the car now for 20 years and decided it is finally time to sell it.
Biggie was killed early March 9th, after leaving an after party hosted by Vibe and Qwest Records at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA. Biggie’s SUV stopped at a red light at the corner of Wilshire Blvd & South Fairfax Ave. Reportedly, a dark colored Chevrolet Impala SS pulled up alongside the rapper’s SUV, firing at the SUV. Four bullets hit Biggie. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors performed an emergency thoracotomy, but he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m. His murder remains unsolved.
