Janet Jackson Is Still Being Verbally Abused By Estranged Husband

Janet Jackson suffered from verbal abuse during her marriage to London-based Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, according to her older brother Steven ‘Randy’ Jackson. Revealing what the 51-year-old singer has been experiencing during her divorce, Randy (55) alleges,

There’s a lot of pain. Janet’s been through a lot with her divorce. I’ve been through a lot, we all have.

As for what led to the divorce, Randy claims,

It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a bitch everyday. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.

Randy says he was compelled to come to help his sister earlier this year.

I told her, ‘You’ve got to move in with me or I’m going to go over there and there’s going to be hell.’ She was really pissed off. I told her, ‘I don’t care anymore. I’m tired of it. It’s too much’.

He admits that he purposely hid what Janet was going through from his parents Kather (87) and Joe (89) Jackson.

I didn’t want them to know. My parents are up there in age so I wanted to protect them as much as possible, but now they know. Everybody in the family knows.

Randy also disputes reports that suggested their split was over their differing religious beliefs.

I have a lot of Muslim friends and they don’t act that way at all. It’s a personal issue that he needs help with and I’m going to pray for him, too. But I’m not going to allow her to live in that abusive situation. She’s my baby sister.

He also says that Janet recently breaking down on stage in tears, while performing in Houston, is a reflection of what she’s been going through.

See footage below of Jackson’s emotional moment, fast forward to the 3:48 mark.

What you saw in Houston, it was her situation coming out, what she’s been going through.

Moreover, he claims,

The abuse is still going on. She has custody and he of course allowed her to bring the baby on tour, but it’s constant harassment. This tour almost didn’t happen, but by the grace of God we’re here and we’re very prayerful.

As to why Randy is speaking out, he says,

We don’t like to put our business out there but sometimes transparency helps you. The devil thrives in darkness. I’m just here supporting her through this time.

Meanwhile, attorneys for Al Mana say

Mr. Al Mana is not going to dignify these particular and deeply hurtful allegations with a response. The breakdown of his marriage to Janet Jackson is a cause of great sadness to Mr. Al Mana, and it is the wellbeing and privacy of their son, Eissa, that remains his sole focus.

Janet and Wissam married in 2012. On April 6, 2016, she announced that she was “planning her family” with husband Wissam Al Mana, resulting in her postponing her tour. In October that same year, Janet confirmed she was expecting her first child with Al Mana. Their son Eissa was born on January 3, 2017. In April (2017), Janet’s rep confirmed that the couple had split.

Glad you stood up Janet and way to go big brother Randy! I love the Jackson clan!

I’m glad she’s out of that situation, but she will always be connected to this mf because of her son.

Really sorry to hear this, but it’s not surprising. Her husband is from Qatar. Most men over there (I did not say ALL) believe it is OK for a husband to beat his wife if she does things like leaving the house without his permission, refusing to have intercourse with him, neglecting their children, or arguing with him or even burning food.
I’m glad her big bro stepped in and flexed. She needs that.
Going on tour is probably helping to keep her mind off some of the drama. Best wishes to her.

She could have got that treatment from a black man but instead she goes and get a Jihadi that don’t believe women should talk. Janet should be glad she got away with her life. Those folks in the local store have zero respect for black men and very little for the black woman.
