Tekashi 6ix9ine Slams Radio Personality For Not Inviting Him To Summer Jam: You Are A P***y!

Tekashi 6ix9ine Slams Ebro For Not Inviting Him To Summer Jam: You Are A P***y!

Even though New York has one of the most talented rosters in the country, there is no denying that Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of the biggest names to have come out of the area in a long time. The rainbow colored hair rapper and the very pregnant Cardi B are sitting in the respective king and queen’s thrones for the time being. So why was he not invited to perform at this year Summer Jam concert? Given the kind of run he has been on, many people think he should have been on the stage for a performance or a guest spot, Hot 97 choose to deny him entrance, leading to the rainbow-haired rapper lashing out on social media against the radio station and it’s morning personality, Ebro Darden.

Tekashi rose in popularity on social media due to a July 2017 Instagram post that went viral. His eccentric appearance (rainbow-dyed hair, a rainbow grill, and multiple versions of the number 69 tattooed on his body) turned him into an internet meme. From there he released the platinum song “Gummo” and the rest they say, is history. The rapper recently expressed his displeasure on social media, for not being invited to Summer Jam. He stated,

Shoutout to these artists. What is ni**as there doing from Philly? What is ni**as there doing from Cali? Where’s your New York artists, blood? Hot 97 is a New York radio station, Blood.

There were New York artist on the stage, but all of the headliners, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, are all from out of town. This fact seemed to frustrate Tekashi 6ix9ine he said during an interview with DJ Akademiks,

I did not need radio to blow up. I don’t need them, so I don’t politic with them. I don’t do the sit-down interviews. I don’t do all the extra sh*t they ask artist to do…I don’t entertain none of them politics.

Akademiks responded,

Summer Jam hadn’t been the same for a while, and to not have an hot artist like you…you and Cardi B.

When the Summer Jam performance announcements hit during the spring Ebro responded to a question about Tekashi performing at the infamous concert with “wait on it,” then said his rise was “all internet hype.”

Darden is originally from California, coming to Hot 97 in 2003. Since then, he has been a music director, program director and radio personality for the legendary station. On his radio show Monday morning in response to 6ix9ines taunts Ebro said,

Clearly Summer Jam matters!! Why you mad? Stop being a business risk & you’ll likely get invites & bookings… ?? You put on make-up famz!!! ?? #CongratulationsYouPlayedYaself”

Ebro continues,

He showed up to the Summer Jam on IG Live.

Ebro poked when discussing the incident on Monday’s show.

Why he put on makeup to cover up all his tattoos…You want to be involved in Summer Jam so bad that you don’t even know how to stand down.

6ix9ine posted a video on Sunday of him and his crew outside the concert venue. But the feud got even more personal when he said in another post,

Ebro, you are p-ssy. Don’t let nobody forget the fact that a couple of years ago, 50 Cent told you ‘Boy stop f*cking playing with me now before I smack the sh*t out you and f*ck you up’ and you said ‘No bro, chill.
