Tamar Braxton Confronted By Delta Pilot For Being Drunk, Towanda Braxton Files Police Report & Accuses Airline of Harassment

Towanda Braxton Calls Out Delta Airlines Pilot For Harassing Tamar And Accusing Her Of Being Drunk

Over the weekend, Towanda Braxton posted a clip of her little sister Tamar Braxton onboard a Delta Airlines flight leaving St. Paul, MN. From the video, it appears that the flight had not yet taken off.

However, for some reason, a flight attendant notified the pilot to come and have words with the singer.

Towanda posted the video to her page offering the following caption:

@tamarbraxton got ridiculed by a pilot for flying while black on Delta. Wow! I guess being a diamond and double million miler don’t matter… @delta Shame on you… #WhyArePeopleSoMad #flyingwhileblack #smh

Towanda did not explain exactly what lead to the confrontation but from what we can gather, it had something to do with instructions possibly not being followed. In the video, you can hear the pilot saying:

My flight attendants work for me. If you get an instruction from a flight attendant, I need to know that you’re willing and able to do what you’re told to do.

Tamar, who sounds like should could possibly be upset, complies with the pilot, then whispers to her neighbor that she did not do anything wrong. They both then agree to leave the plane before take off.

The video has since caught the attention of Delta, who promised to investigate the matter.

Because many details were not made available, fans were torn between what story they should believe. Several fans left comments for Towanda, suggesting that her video does not provide context to make a judgment on. According to comments made by Towanda, the flight attendant and pilot wrongfully accused Tamar of being drunk because she had a blanket over her head while trying to sleep. They were allegedly both written up and a police report was filed.  Check out Towanda’s comments below:

Tamar has not publically commented on the incident.

What do you think really happened on the flight?
