Leaked Beyonce Songs Released Under the Moniker “Queen Carter”

Beyonce Knowles-Carter is the queen of surprises. This time she and her team were the ones in for a surprise! Fans scrambled to access their favorite streaming platforms yesterday (December 20, 2018) when several projects full of unreleased and older released songs from Blue, Rumi, and Sir‘s mommy surfaced.

The EPs were called “Have Your Way,” and “Back Up, Rewind.” Some of the older releases included were “After All is Said and Done” from the 1999 “Best Man” movie soundtrack, “Keep Giving Your Love to Me” from the “Bad Boys II” soundtrack, and “Hey Goldmember,” which she performed in the Austin Powers action/comedy.

Hackers work hard, but Bey’s Parkwood Entertainment team works harder! All of the music was removed from streaming platforms by midnight. Billboard confirmed that these releases were, in fact, unauthorized.

Beyonce wasn’t the first victim of having unauthorized music released. Earlier that night, singer SZA had the same thing happen. Several projects, including songs featuring fellow Top Dawg Entertainment artist Kendrick Lamar, were released to Apple Music and Spotify under the name Sister Solana. TDE executive Punch immediately addressed the songs on Twitter. He said:

“There is no new SZA album out. Old songs were stolen and leaked. We are currently fixing the issue. Please feel free to continue enjoying Ctrl until the next album is ready. -Punchino from TDE”

Did you hear these unreleased songs before they were removed?
