50 Cent & Funkmaster Flex Slam Nick Cannon & Dame Dash

Former Roc-a-Fella Records CEO Dame Dash has been dodging questions about his involvement with under-aged women in light of the recent R. Kelly expose documentary, “Surviving R. Kelly.” As we previously reported, Dame sat down with Nick Cannon on his webseries, “Cannon’s Class,” and answered questions about ex-pal Jay Z‘s relationship with a young Foxy Brown. Dame also wagged his finger at Jigga, claiming he advised him against working with R. Kelly during the “Best of Both Worlds” era. Well, the internet quickly reminded him that he was wild’n out right next to Jay Z and R. Kelly in the “Fiesta (Remix)” music video!

Fellow industry vets – Hot 97 DJ Funkamster Flex and 50 Cent – called both Dame Dash and Nick Cannon out for the gossipy interview. 50 Cent commented on Nick’s post:

“@50cent This show should be called 2 suckers chatting class”

Nick responded:

“@nickcannon Ha!!! That’s what you got out of that Big Homey??? Interesting! I was taught Solid recognize Solid and suckas recognize suckas… Let’s talk about it!”

Of course, 50 didn’t let Nick’s slight slide:

“@50cent @nickcannon that’s f*cked up you know these people out here so sensitive, they looking for anything Dame know what he was doing. He could have brushed right pass that question instead he asked you to ask him again.”

When an Instagram user accused 50 Cent of endorsing pedophilia, he responded:

“@50cent @cocaina_ishername Nah b*tch, I just don’t like all this sucker sh*t I’m seeing.”

Funkmaster Flex seemingly agrees with 50 Cent’s claims. He responded to a commenter:

“@funkflex @m_o_o_n_e_y hahahaha! 2 F*cking giggling b*tches worried about Jayz penis and who he’s F*cking?!?! @duskopoppington x @nickcannon #2019Scum”

Dame Dash and Funkmaster Flex have a longstanding beef, so Flex is in no rush to make nice. He direct messaged Nick Cannon on Instagram, to which Nick hinted at a future radio interview. The exchange went as follows:

“Funkmaster Flex: I’m gonna dedicate my energy directly to u!

Nick Cannon: Please do!!! Just spoke to your Boss too! He’s excited
Street is watching too tough guy! Let’s set it up!!!”

Nick posted a screenshot of their conversation to his Instagram Story with this caption:

“#NCREDIBLE We SOLID over here!
Whoo this is getting Exciting!!! Should I keep it Corporate or take it to the Street?! LOL”

Nick Cannon seemingly realized he can’t question others on why they chose to look the other way during R. Kelly’s inappropriate interactions with teenaged girls, considering he, too, worked with him during the time of the trial. He posted he and R. Kelly’s “Gigalo” collaboration with the following caption:

“@nickcannon #TBT After much self reflection and meditation, I have to be one of the first to admit that in my past I’ve DEFINITELY turned a blind eye to a lot of darkness in this industry. Let’s stop beating around the bush and call it what it is. This entire industry was established and built by evil and predatorily spirits and male chauvinistic behavior. And since the recent media outrage pertaining to @RKELLY I have realized that the REAL issue at hand is the ultimate lack of care and disrespect for our QUEENS. For far too long we have treated women like second class citizens, when in actuality they are the source, our core, and the Superior beings. But our insecurities, Egos, and lack of love has tried to prove otherwise. Therefore we have SEVERAL cases where we allow entertainers, executives, and every day individuals abuse and mistreat our life bearers and beautiful equals. It is no secret how men have misused their power to manipulate young emerging pop stars to seasoned hollywood actresses and everyone in between. I have personally witnessed it and will no longer be silent about it. It’s not dry snitching, it’s a paradigm shift. I’m not judging ANY man for his past or his private actions because I too am a guilty sinner of the blatant disrespect even in some of the statements in the song above. But From Individuals like Les Moonves, Harvey Weinstein, ?Steven Tyler?, R. Kelly, Elvis and others, I must say we have to deal with this sickness head on. The real leaders and Bosses must step up and be MEN! And I will be one of the first to say on behalf of all men, I am Sorry. Please consider an advocate, ally and student that needs guidance in an industry that was designed to take advantage of women. Let’s change it ALL immediately. And call it all to the table for our ignorance, wrong doings and disrespect. I apologize my Queens.”
