Travis Scott Spoke w/ Colin Kaepernick About Super Bowl, Fans Speculate Rapper Will Propose to Kylie Jenner 

To perform on the biggest stage in entertainment history or stand up for your culture? Grammy nominated rapper, Jacques Berman Webster II, a.k.a Travis Scott, recently made the decision to perform at this year’s Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Ga on February 3. According to reports, this choice was made after the NFL agreed to donate a half a million dollars to the non-profit called Dream Corps. Scott faced backlash by some for choosing his career over supporting Colin Kaepernick’s protest as other entertainers such as Cardi B, Rihanna, and Jay-Z, who all turned down Halftime show requests.

Kaepernick, 32, sparked a national controversial conversation on social justice by kneeling on one knee during the National Anthem. Many debate that this stance ultimately blacked balled him from playing for any NFL team.

According to reports, prior to deciding to perform, Scott had a conversation with Kaepernick. A source says,

“Scott and Kaepernick had at least one phone conversation before the rapper confirmed his Super Bowl appearance. Scott said that while the two did not necessarily agree, they emerged from the conversation with mutual respect and understanding.”

Scott will be performing with 3-time Grammy award winning group Maroon 5. The news of Scott’s upcoming performance set social media on fire. Check out a few fans reactions below:

Scott, 26, who has been dating the lip kit queen and reality star, Kylie Jenner since April 2017, now has fans speculating a possible halftime show wedding proposal to his girlfriend.
