Mystikal (real name Michael Tyler) put together $3 million for his bond from which is an advancement for a new recording deal as well as fundraisers conducted by his friends and family, according to reports.

Joel Pearce, another attorney for the rapper, believes the artist will never have to see another prison cell.

“Based on all of the evidence we have, we strongly believe that an amicable resolution is not only possible but probable as an outcome in this case and that Michael Tyler will never be made to return to jail for a crime he didn’t commit.”

As of now, the former No Limit rapper is free until his trail which is set to start in May.
