Kim Kardashian-West To Debut New Affordable Collection of Sunglasses

Want the Kim K look? The reality star mogul is set to announce a partnership with Israeli company, Carolina Lemke with a new affordable line of sunglasses. Kim Kardashian-West, 38, became a fan of the brand after being introduced to the frames through supermodel, Bar Refaeli. Mrs. West will price all of the styles that are set for release under $100!

Kim explained in a recent interview:

“It’s a little crazy how expensive designer sunglasses can get. Especially if you lose your sunglasses a lot, or it you tend to break them or scratch them. I felt like the quality was so high level, and the price point was really reasonable, and I really like how open they were to different design ideas. We have such a range, form big shield glasses to more sporty glasses and ’90s shapes. It was a really fun process for me.”

She also details how she brought the company to the United States.

“We were all having dinner one night and met some of the owners, and it was just so organic. We were talking about how they should launch in the U.S. because they hadn’t done that yet, and we all loved the idea, so it just magically came together.”

The Kardashian queen is set to release the collection with Carolina Lemke on April 3th and pre-sale throughout the month of March. Hopefully, this fashion venture won’t get knocked off as we have reported, the beauty entrepreneur slams designers for pinching off high fashion designers,

“It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas.

I’ve watched these companies profit off my husband’s work for years and now that it’s also affecting designers who have been so generous to give me access to their beautiful works, I can no longer sit silent.

Only two days ago, I was privileged enough to wear a one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress and in less than 24 hours it was knocked off and thrown up on a site – but it’s not for sale. You have to sign up for a waitlist because the dress hasn’t even been made to sell yet.”
