Justin Bieber Slammed For Using Photo Of Diddy & Kim Porter To Promote His Clothing Line

Bad Boy Records mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is one of singer Justin Bieber‘s many friends in the hip hop industry, but followers suggested he got a little too friendly with a recent Instagram post. Justin’s latest venture is a cheeky line of sweats and accessories adorned in smiley face designs called House of Drew. He promotes the line in almost every other post.

However, this is where Justin’s innocent promotion got tricky. Diddy has been publicly mourning his late ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, for the past few months.

He has recently, taken some criticism for expressing his deep love for the beautiful model and mother to three of his children because he didn’t marry her. The Biebs posted a throwback photo of Diddy and Kim in front of a Rolls Royce. But the problem was the caption:

“@drewhouse #diddyfordrewhouse @diddy KP YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR THE STUNNING WOMAN YOU WERE INSIDE AND OUT..”

Several fans and followers slammed him for plugging Diddy’s pain for promotion of House of Drew. One of the comments read:

“in no way…is it respectful to us a post about a woman’s death to plug your clothing line. I’m a fan and he can be respectful in his day to day like all he wants. But he’s gotta take this FAT L. This ain’t it”

Justin responded, insisting that exploiting Diddy wasn’t his intention. He said:

“ur wrong. God knows my heart, I know them and their family don’t tell me I’m being disrespectful I have all the respect for both of them I didn’t realize it was a photo of him mouring KP but I totally repsect that but I also respect how sick of a photo that is! It’s allay to appreciate art photographs are art and he happens to be wearing an identical outfit of my clothing line and I thought that was really cool.”

In Justin Bieber’s defense, he’s paid his respects to the late Kim Porter before. He dedicated a sweet post to his friend and Kim’s son, Quincy Brown, shortly after the model’s sudden death. He told Quincy:

“Love you quincy never knew your mom. But I know how special you are so I know your mom must have been amazing!! Love you so much and my prayers are with you and your family”

Was Justin Bieber wrong for using Diddy and Kim’s picture with his clothing line’s hashtag? Let us know in the comments.
