EXCLUSIVE: Singer Carl Thomas Undergoes Surgery To Remove Non Cancerous Tumor

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Grammy nominated singer, Carl Thomas was hospitalized on Monday to undergo a surgical procedure to remove a tumor in his glands. Before going under the knife, Thomas shared a photo while wearing a brave face adding the caption,

”In God’s hands this morning.”

Sources tells us Thomas underwent a procedure to remove a noncancerous tumor located in one of his salivary glands. He had

“ a benign Tumor in one of [his] salivary glands and they removed it today.”

Sources also confirmed that Thomas’ ENT and Neurosurgeon preformed his surgery which was successful and if things go as planned, Thomas will be back to work in two weeks,

“[Carl will] be released tomorrow and should be back to work in two weeks.”

After posting he was hospitalized on Monday, several artists and friends took to his comments to wish him well including gospel singer of Mary Mary, Erica Campbell, and actor Omar Gooding. Fellow singer Ginuwine wrote to Thomas,

“Get well soon King.”

Thomas launch into the music industry in the late 90/early 2000s with the hit single ‘Summer Rain,’ under Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘Bad Boy’ record label.

To follow his hit single, Thomas charted another classic R&B song, ‘I Wish,’ which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May of 2000.
