Dr. Dre Is Now Working W/ 12-Year-Old ‘I Just Wanna Live’ Singer Keedron Bryant [WATCH]

Keedron Bryant, 12, who went viral for his song “I Just Wanna Live” following the death of George Floyd, is now working with legendary producer Dr.Dre.

On May 26, just one day after George Floyd was killed while in police custody, Keedron Bryant uploaded a video of himself singing “I Just Wanna Live” as a tribute to him. He wrote the caption:

“just singing what’s on my heart…hope this blesses someone @sdhtoronto thanks for this dope shirt!! #ijustwantolive #blacklivesmatter #ijustwannalive #equality #black #blackexcellence #racism #justice @mstinalawson”

The video attracted the attention of many including Dr.Dre, who posted a remixed version of the song featuring Dem Jointz sounds. Dr.Dre captioned the video:

“This moved me today. The lyrics say it all.
@keedronbryant x @demjointz”

Keedron Bryant went on to sign with Warner Records. Now, he’s working with Dr.Dre!

In a video featuring Bryant singing, while Dr.Dre is sitting in the background, Bryant captioned:

“I’LL NEVER STOP DREAMING THIS IS EVIDENCE THAT THEY CAN COME TRUE

MY NEW UNCLE @drdre MY PRODUCER @demjointz I LOVE Y’ALL…”
