Sometimes people (like myself) “be” worried about the wrong things. Nevermind this I wanna leave Def Jam foolishness, let’s talk about Shyne’s damn haircut here folks. The photo is c/o Nah Right and probably dated, but still.
In other less important news, Shyne wants the eff up outta Def Jam.
On Oct. 2, Dodson performed at the BET Hip Hop Awards show, which airs tonight, in like 5 minutes literally. Vibe chops it up with Dotson about how he got on the show.
“I am not desperate at all. I don’t call people and say, ‘Hey, I want to be on your show.’ They reached out to me and said, ‘You are the hot topic right now, so we want you to be on the show.’ I thought I was just presenting. I did not know what I was doing until I got there. So I was like, ‘Oh, I’m performing? OK.’ That was my first performance ever.” Full interview here.
BET is wrong for not getting his hair and make-up straight.

Vanity Fair’s Lisa Robinson Why did you have permanent diamonds drilled into your bottom teeth?
K.W. I just like diamond teeth and I didn’t feel like having to take them out all the time.
L.R. What do you think Jay-Z has done for you?
K.W. Man, everything—served as a big brother, the blueprint, our reality. Someone to look up to.
L.R. What do you think you’ve done for him?
K.W. Just served as a burst of energy at all times—light and energy. Just a person who’s constantly seeking information that Jay can use.
I love this. Especially the drummer ;-)

Mariah Carey skipped the Los Angeles leg of Nick Cannon’s 30th Birthday party tour. Her rep didn’t respond to why, but she did make it to Nick’s NYC party, where pregnancy rumors have resurfaced for the 83rd time. A source said, “She didn’t eat a thing at the party, then ordered one of everything on the menu, plus two extra-cheese raviolis, to go. Then on Saturday, to everyone’s surprise, she didn’t appear.” Full story here.
In my mind, he was cookin’ dinner and heard his teenage daughter playing this song. He couldn’t control himself, so he started two-steppin w/ that tight wife beater on, which i love.
Judge him. I guarantee he gives less than a damn.
