[Fotos, Footage & Flix] Full Recap of Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America’ Show

Saturday night, one of the more entertaining highlights of Phillys ‘Made In America’ festival was the man of the hour, Jay-Z. Around 9:33 p.m. he hit the stage, dressed in all black like the omen (a Brooklyn Nets hat, two chains and a pair of Yeezy’s to be exact), appearing with Frank Ocean singing “Sweet Baby Jesus”.
He entered from the back of the stage with his first song, “Public Service Announcement”, followed by President Obama’s very own PSA. He performed classics like “99 Problems,” ”Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” ”Big Pimpin'”, “Empire State of Mind” and even performed “Bonnie & Clyde” (while the crowd kept their fingers crossed that Beyonce would emerge on stage…but no luck, she was in the VIP stands, two steppin’ with the rest of us).

Jay’s set also included G.O.O.D. music hitting the stage performing “Mercy,” ”Dance” , while Kanye performed some of his classics like “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”

Cameos also included Jay-Z Philadelphians Freeway, Chris and Neff, as well as Memphis Bleek, 2 Chainz (who came out with GOOD Music) and Swizz Beatz. The show ended with Jay and Ye’s smash, “N*ggas in Paris” and some entertaining fireworks. The festival is being filmed as a documentary and will be directed by Ron Howard. Proceeds from the ticketed event will benefit United Way chapters.
