Well, according to her unauthorized biography by Kitty Kelley, Oprah’s mother doesn’t have her own daughter’s phone #. How does she reach Oprah? She calls Oprah’s assistant and leaves a message (to reach Oprah). Do I believe this? Besides the fact that it doesn’t matter if I believe it, I sorta do. I love all momma’s, but they do be on some other type ish sometimes. I bet if you’re reading this, you’ve probably ignored your mother’s call a time or two and you don’t even tape 3 shows a day. Not saying that I have!!!! Just sayin. Here for more alleged dirt and rumors via the new biography.
Over the weekend, Jim Carey received flack for sharing some of his opinions via twitter. The tweet that pissed folks off, were his thoughts on Tiger’s alleged infidelity. He tweeted: “Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself.” And added, “I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibility 4 it is shared by both people!”
Anywho, that apparently pissed some folks off. Marlon Wayan’s came to Carrey’s defense, noting that comedians (and I hope he feels ppl), should be able to share their opinions.
I stand on the front lines defending the voice and opinions of not just comedians but all PEOPLE. Comedians are the philosphers of 2day about 2 hours ago via UberTwitter
Would we try to silence socrates? Richard pryor? Lenny bruce? George carlin? Chris rock? Whoopi? 2 hell wit dat I’m gona speak my mind about 2 hours ago via UberTwitter
Now on a branding “handler” tip, I’d ask for Jim Carrey to shut the hell up and keep his thoughts to himself. Last I checked, women go to the box office and take their kids to his movies. Who needs them thinking that he condones Tiger’s cheating? On a personal tip, it may be a stretch for Wayans to refer to comedians as the “philosophers” of today. I mean, really. Let’s not go getting all crazy. I do agree, that we all have a different experience and opinion. We should be entitled to say whatever the heck we want (within reason).
This is funny, but dope @ the same time. Why funny? Because it’s actually news that a celebrity is discussing their sex-life or lack thereof . Why dope? Because little kiddies look up to Gaga and celibacy seems to be uncommon as of late. Good for her.
Anywho, Lady Gaga’s opening up on why she’s decided to become or remain celibate. She recently told London’s Daily Mail, “I can’t believe I’m saying this – don’t have sex. I’m single right now and I’ve chosen to be single because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody,” she said. “So it’s OK not to have sex, it’s OK to get to know people. I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine.”
“It’s OK to be whomever it is that you want to be,” she said. “You don’t have to have sex to feel good about yourself, and if you’re not ready, don’t do it. And if you are ready, there are free condoms given away at my concerts when you’re leaving!”
Last week, rumors were circulating that the lovely Elizabeth Taylor was recently engaged. She’s been married EIGHT times. No judgement. According to her twitter page (yes, Ms. Taylor tweets, boo), it ain’t happening. Peep her tweet:
The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren’t true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart. about 1 hour ago via web
On another note, Elizabeth cuts no cards on her twitter page. She shares her two cents on everything from Michael Jackson to “scum bag” tabloids.
Spoiler Alert!!!! Ladies (I doubt men are as excited), this is a NEW trailer for Sex in the City 2. If you’d like to be kept in suspense, don’t watch the clip or read on. Based off what we see thus far, the biggest plot of the movie—Carrie running into her EX fiance, Aiden. “We bump into each other half way round the world – I think it means something.”

While on Ryan Seacrest’s show, Rihanna called Matt Kemp, “my boyfriend.” Well, ain’t that cute! What’s cuter is that she added, “nothing too serious. … I just want to have fun, and that’s what it’s about.” Call me lame, but I really think that they should take the Bey and Jay approach and keep things low. No one asked me though.
