Just when we thought that the plot couldn’t thicken, it in fact does. Over the weekend, we learned that Deion Sanders’ estranged wife, Pilar Sanders, is suing the ex-NFL’er for $200 million —> for assault, claiming:
“emotional and physical abuse, mental distress, public humiliation and financial loss.”
And more recently, Pilar has made legal efforts to speak with Deion’s mistresses. She has filed documents requesting to take depositions of an alleged mistress named Tracey Edmonds, which TMZ reports is the ex of Eddie Murphy.
As you may (or may not) know, Tracey, who used to be married to Babyface, works in the entertainment industry (she’s made and executive produced films like Soul Food, Hav Plenty, Jumping the Broom; produced some BET series’ like College Hill, Lil Kim: Countdown to Lockdown, etc.) and was also in a relationship with comedic actor Eddie Murphy. Now, there could certainly be ANOTHER Tracey Edmonds that Pilar is referencing here, but there’s a strong possibility that it’s the same one. Nonetheless, of the allegations, Tracey responded saying,
“I am shocked to learn that Pilar Sanders is trying to drag me and my employees through her pre-nuptual dispute. I cannot understand why she continues to create public issues out of her private life issues and feel very sorry for their children.”
Pilar alleges that Tracey was not the only “mistress”. She also alleges that last summer, Deion had an affair with a 20-year-old model named Aleea Stanton. UPDATED –> After the story hit Monday morning, Edmonds responded via twitter:
Meanwhile, Monday, Deion is set to visit Dr. Phil, but from the look of the teaser, we won’t get much on his drama-filled divorce from Pilar. Peep the teaser.
