Ear Hustlin’: Draya Michele Films Rumored Spin-Off, Hosts Women’s Empowerment Brunch
Season three may be officially over for Basketball Wives LA, but a few cast members are still in front of the camera. Over the weekend, Draya Michele hosted her ‘First Annual Women’s Empowerment Brunch’. Held at Xen Lounge, Draya invited women entrepreneurs to network and mingle. Draya shared her excitement after the event, writing:
I just wanna say today’s event was huge!!!!!!!! I’ve never been around such positive and motivating women before. I thank everyone who was a part of it.. To see more pics from my brunch click the hashtag #drayapowerlunch
An insider tells us exclusively that VH1 cameras were rolling. Attendees were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which is standard when filming. Our source also reports that filming wasn’t for the upcoming season of Basketball Wives LA, but for a pilot show for Draya.
Late last year, theJasmineBRAND.com interviewed Draya and asked her about rumors that she and her friends were shopping a ‘Fine A** Girls’ spin-off show. She told us exclusively:
There’s a lot I can’t say but you guys just to to watch ‘Basketball Wives’ and then maybe at the end we’ll give you some hints of what’s coming next so, got to stay tuned.
We’ll keep you posted on Draya’s rumored spin-off plans. In the meantime, check out candids from her Women’s Empowerment Brunch.
