Rapper, singer, and #QuarantineRadio host Tory Lanez is expanding his brand in a major way. He announced to his 9.2 million Instagram followers that he will be collaborating with YouTube to launch a fresh way for fans to interact with their favorite artists and celebs. Tory Lanez explains in the post:
“To all my artist friends ! And everything LIVE !!!! hopefully This works tomorrow ! cuz if it does this is HISTORY ! to the fans … U will be able to connect with your favorite artist for songs that u want to hear , or to pin your comment , or to customize anything in the artist set ! THIS IS GOING TO BE ALOT OF FUN !!”
He added that the first event will kick off Friday (May 1) and that some of the money he makes will go to charity.
“Tomorrow I will set it off with the first paid live show on quarantine EVER !!! I will be donating a PERCENTAGE of the proceeds to CHARITY … let’s gooo *da baby voice* #SocialDistanceTour”
This news comes just days after Tory Lanez revealed that MTV offered him a 30-minute segment, following the success of his Instagram Live show. That feature is known for its twerk-a-thons, celebrity guests, and outright funny commentating by the rapper, himself.

He told Billboard,
“MTV offered me something like a little 30-minute segment, but I don’t know what I want to do. I want it to be something that the fans decide. If I end up coming up with an idea for it, hopefully, it’ll be on MTV.”
Tory Lanez first launched the show amid the coronavirus pandemic while playing music on Instagram Live. Once our favorite celebrities like DMX and Justin Bieber hopped on, #QuarantineRadio went to another level, and so did Tory Lanez’s following. His Instagram followers increased by 2.2 million, and his YouTube subscribers have doubled.
