Phoenix Suns’ Chris Paul Is Vaccinated, According to Jalen Rose: I Don’t Anticipate Him Missing More Than 1 Game

Update #2 (June 16thth – 12:15pm) Good news for Chris Paul fans. Retired NBA star Jalen Rose has said Chris Paul is vaccinated and will return to the court sooner than later.

He said,

“They’re off this week, he’s already been vaccinated. I know the word ‘indefinitely’ makes you feel like he may not be in the next series. I don’t anticipate him missing more than one game at the most. Just based on the dymanics of time and how the protocol has worked.”

Original Story (June 16th – 11:03 am) Basketball player Chris Paul will be taking some time off of the court as he focuses on his health. According to reports, Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul, 36, has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and has been sidelined indefinitely. Because of this, the famous point guard may not suit up to play in the Western Conference finals, which are scheduled to start next week. As of now, it’s unclear why Chris Paul was placed in the league’s COVID-19 protocols. However, NBA’s regulations for coronavirus-related isolation periods have reportedly become shorter for vaccinated players/staff. This means if Chris Paul is vaccinated he could be making a seemingly quick return to rejoin his team.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets in the conference semifinals and will play either the Utah Jazz or LA Clippers in the Western Conference finals. Chris Paul has yet to speak on the situation, however, two days ago, before his health suspension, he shared an image to his Instagram account of himself on the court. He captioned the picture,

“Can’t Give Up Now.”
