Boosie Seemingly Shares His Disappointment In NBA YoungBoy For Collaborating W/ Lil Nas X: I Thought YoungBoy Was Like Me [VIDEO]

Boosie appears to be one hip-hop fan who isn’t here for the collaboration between Lil Nas X and NBA YoungBoy on “Late To Da Party (F*CK BET).”

During a recent interview with VladTV, Boosie, 39, was asked about the pair’s track and he seemingly shared his disappointment in NBA YoungBoy for jumping on the song. Although the Louisiana rapper kept his response brief, he did mention that he thought he and Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy, 22, were more alike in many ways. Boosie shared,

“If I ever see him, I’ma tell him about that. If ever see YoungBoy, I’ll tell him how I feel about that. I thought YoungBoy was like me. We represent a certain group of people and what we do affect those people.”

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper added,

“That’s why I always try to stay a hundred. I thought he was like me in a certain, a lot of ways. I don’t want to talk about it on camera how I feel about it, but if I ever see him, I’ll tell him how I feel.”

As previously reported, openly gay rapper/singer Lil Nas X, 23, released a diss track aimed at Black Entertainment Television (BET) and also accused the network of feeding into homophobia within hip-hop culture.

The track’s release, which features NBA YoungBoy, comes after Lil Nas X received zero nominations for this year’s BET Awards. At the beginning of the video for the song, a BET Award trophy sits at the bottom of a toilet bowl while someone urinates on it.

Boosie has shared his dislike for Lil Nas X and his open homosexuality in the past. He called out Lil Nas X after he jokingly told fans he was collaborating with Boosie and a new song was on the way from the two.

Boosie didn’t take the “Old Town Road” star’s joke very lightly and fired back via Twitter. He wrote, 

“STOP TROLLING ME F—– LOL!! YOU A WHOLE B**** PLAYING WITH A GANGSTA SMH. YOU CAN KEEP SUCKING D*** AND GETTING F****** IN YOUR A** N PEACE N #uhateyourself I WOULD TOO IF I WERE YOU LOL. NASx IF YOU #commitsuicide YOU WOULD DO THIS WORLD A HUGE FAVOR NOBODY WANTS U HERE.”
