Kanye West — Social Media Users React To Rapper’s Return To Instagram: ‘The King Is Back’
Kanye West is back on Instagram, and his return just might have broken the internet!
On Sunday (Mar. 5), Kanye West marked his resurgence on the platform by sharing a controversial photo of a male figure in a gray, Balenciaga jumpsuit and red glasses.

Under the photo, which currently holds a whopping total of over 1 million likes, Kanye West simply captioned it:
“Write a caption…”

Of course, the ‘Donda’ rapper’s 18 million followers (plus) then poured in the replies, expressing their excitement for West’s (re)arrival.
Someone in the comment section wrote,
“This ain’t it… but we gonna make it it.”
Another user added:
“The king is back!”

However, while many were ecstatic to see the 45-year-old back on his virtual shenanigans again, others wondered whether or not the post actually came from the fingers of Ye.
A follower remarked,
“Is Kanye still alive or have they killed and cloned him?”
Along with fans of the ‘Yeezy’ founder, fellow lyricist YG applauded West’s comeback, making it known that he was also happy to see an upload from Mr. Saint Pablo. British rhymer Stefflon Don even had questions as to where West had been during his time away from the ‘Gram.
YG responded,
“Yeezy back !!!!!”
As previously reported, West has maintained a pretty low profile since previously undergoing a social media ban for violating the online networking entities’ policies.
If you don’t know, he landed himself in some trouble after going on an antisemitic tirade that didn’t sit too well with the community or the companies that he was working with at the time–Balenciaga included.
Last year, when lashing back at Diddy, who bashed West’s decision to rock a White Lives Matter t-shirt during Paris Fashion Week, West wrote on his Instagram,
“This ain’t a game
Imma use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me
I told you this was war
Now gone get you some business.”
No word on if Diddy and West were able to settle things “in love” or if he’s glad to see West on Instagram again.
