Omarion Claims He’s Responsible For His Estranged B2K Group Member Lil Fizz Landing A Role On The Reality Series ‘Love & Hip Hop’: ‘He Was Living w/ His Mom At The Time’

It looks like Omarion is spilling the beans on how he helped his group member Lil Fizz land a job.

During a snippet of his 5-part docuseries Omega: The Gift & The Curse, Omarion revealed that he helped his estranged B2K group member Lil Fizz secure a spot on Love & Hip Hop.

Omarion explained,

“Mona [Scott] and her team asked–they said, ‘do you have any other friends or people that, you know, we could interview and see?’ Because they’re all about connections and interweaving people into storylines, etc.”

He continued,

“I offered up Fiz. He was living with his mom at the time and I think he was in between places. It was an opportunity and I’m not one to hold opportunity from people.”

He added,

“But I never thought that it would turn into what it’s turned to.”

Despite Omarion lending a helping hand, it’s safe to say these two men have had a rocky relationship in recent years.

In 2019, Lil Fizz faced tons of backlash after he confirmed he was dating his Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood co-star Apryl Jones, who shares two children with Omarion.

Omarion broke his silence on the controversial relationship months later and notably showcased an unbothered perspective, which many fans were impressed with. He told VladTV in November 2019,

“I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it. I think that if they’re happy, then they should be happy. I think they should change the narrative, though.”

Lil Fizz and Apryl Jones called it quits shortly after, and nearly two years later, Lil Fizz publicly apologized to Omarion during the Millennium Tour.

While on stage Fizz said,

“I don’t think it would be right if I didn’t take this moment, bro, to publicly apologize to you. I did some f**ked up s**t to my brother and I’m not proud of it, man.”

He added,

“So I want to stand here, humbly, and sincerely apologize to you for any turmoil or dysfunction I caused between you and your family.”

As for Omega – The Gift and the Curse, fans can expect to get a deep dive into the 2019 Millennium Tour that found the R&B crooner reunited with his B2k bandmates for the first time in over a decade. The 5-part docuseries will give a personal look into Omarion’s life and features never-before-seen interviews, rehearsals, tour footage, and performances.
